09:53 pm - Writer's Block: The Right to Privacy

For some reason, it doesn't work when I try to post a reply to the Writer's Block thing. So I'm "freehanding" this answer.

The question is: Should some parts of celebrities' lives be off-limits to the public, or is giving up privacy a fair price for being famous?

My answer: Technically, celebrities don't give up their privacy. It's taken from them. It's hard to fight back when the laws of photojournalism are based on ethics left up to interpretation.

You Scored as The Phantom of the Opera

The Phantom haunts the Paris opera house, lurking in the shadows, watching all that goes on. A passionate but unbalanced artist, he hides his disfigured face behind a mask. He wants nothing more than to be accepted and win the love of Christine, the beautiful soprano. However, when she rejects him, he vows to avenge himself against humanity.
